WO1 ROBERT A. NICHOLAS

I left my hometown of Seattle, Washington to go to basic training on 2 August 1990. Following training at the Army School of Music, I was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Division Band, Wuerzburg, Germany. I left active duty in August of 1994 and was assigned to the 133rd Army Band, WAARNG. I then moved to Kansas and spent from 1995-2000 in the 1/161 Field Artillery before transferring to the 312th Army Band. As a part of the 312th Army Band, I have served as supply NCO, squad leader, operations NCO, and group leader before being selected for Warrant Officer Bandmaster training in 2006. I was graduated from Warrant Officer Candidate School in November 2006. My other military schools include the Primary Leadership Development Course and Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course. In addition to my military schooling, I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from Wichita State University and a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University.
