This fan page is designed for all the children ages 2 to ? who absolutely love the Wizard of Oz.
If you would like to have your child's picture displayed here, please send me a photograph of that child or children. I also need the child's first name, their age, the state they live in and what part of the movie they love best. Please include your permission to display the picture and the information.
This may be done by E-mail, accompanied by a JPEG or GIF photo, or by snail mail. I am sorry but I cannot return photo's sent to me unless you include a SASE.

During the course of my relationship with many people about the film Wizard of Oz, I have spoken to parents who have children who are just "crazy" about Oz. I have also received notes from school children and others who have a very special place in their hearts for this, one of the greatest motion pictures ever filmed. I have a very dear friend that when someone asks him why he is so involved with Oz he says, I did not choose it, it chose me. I have come to believe that statement is true for many children. It touches them in a way that is profound and lasts a lifetime.
This page is dedicated to all the children I have spoken with and parents who have written to me about the love that their child has for this film. This then is really what Oz is all about. I feel so proud of the children whose pictures are displayed below.
This is my 17 year old granddaughter Allison Carol.
She is a senior in High School and will start Nursing
School next September, 2004. She is from California. Her favorite
Oz character is Judy Garland singing anything.
My name name is Melissa. I'm 18 and live in Georgia.
My favorite OZ character is Dorothy.
My name is Jessica and I am 15 years of age and live in Oklahoma. My favorite part of the Wizard of Oz is when dorothy sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (I get goosebumps!).
Lisa Marie, she is 24 years old and lives in Rhode Island. Her favorite part of the movie is the Emerald City because it's beautiful, magical, and
it's her favorite color - green!
Brooke lives in Indiana.
When she was 5 years old she won the Dorothy look-a-like contest at Chesterton, Indiana. Brooke and her mother will be at Chesterton this year
and I'm looking forward to meeting them.

My daughter Morgan is a HUGE Oz fan. She has all the Oz Barbies and plays with them faithfully. "Imaginary" Dorothy, Tinman, Lion, and Scarecrow also accompany us everywhere we go... She has long long conversations with each of them. Morgan is 3 1/2 years old, and her favorite part of the movie is where Dorothy meets Scarecrow and he dances and falls down. She will be having a Wizard of Oz theme for her 4th birthday in December 2001. Morgan lives in Kentucky
Kerstyn is a lovely 5 year old and the niece of
some good friends of mine. Kerstyn pictured
here with a real Munchkin, Margaret Pelligrini,
attended the Aberdeen, South Dakota Oz
festival last June. The dress she is wearing was
made by her loving uncle, Kevin. Both
Kerstyn and Kevin are from Minnesota. Kevin,
I am really impressed!
Jason, he is 3 1/2 years old
and lives in Arizona.
He is the biggest little wizard fan.
He knows the movie backwards and
forwards. He even knows all the actors real names.
His favorite scene is when the Tin Woodman chops
down the door with his ax, and saves Dorothy.
Jennifer, she is 12 years
old and she is from the
state of Texas. She is
also my fourth cousin on my
maternal side of the family.

Brigid, age 10 - Dorothy, lives in Ohio.
Molly, age 5 - Tin Woman, lives in Ohio.
Jennifer, age 10 - Glinda, lives in Ohio.
